How Do I Get a Netherwing Mount?

Introductory Quest Chain

  Travel to Shadowmoon Valley, on the Outlands continent, and locate Mordenai, a quest giver. You'll find him in the southeast corner of the zone, immediately to the right of the Sanctum of the Stars on the zone map.

  Accept the quest Mordenai gives you, "Kindness," and complete it.

• 3

  Accept the next quest, "Seek Out Neltharaku," and complete it.

• 4

  Continue working your way through the quest chain. The last quest you need to complete is "Ally of the Netherwing," delivered to Mordenai.

Unlocking the Daily Quests

  Accept the quest "Blood Oath of the Netherwing," which will complete automatically, and then accept "In Service of the Illidari."

  Travel to Netherwing Ledge, a floating piece of land in the southeast corner of Shadowmoon Valley, and deliver the quest to Overlord Mor'ghor.

  Accept the "Enter the Taskmaster" quest and deliver it to Taskmaster Varkule Dragonbreath, standing a few steps away from Overlord Mor'ghor. Completing this quest unlocks an initial set of daily quests.

Increasing Your Reputation

  Complete the available daily quests every day. More daily quests will unlock as your reputation increases.

  Collect Netherwing Eggs and deliver them to Yarzill the Merc. You'll get these eggs as loot from enemies you kill, and you may come across them in the environment; they appear as glowing eggs with spikes you can interact with. Each egg you collect is worth an additional 250 reputation.

  Complete any nonrepeatable quests that appear as you proceed through the reputation levels. All of these quests will also increase your reputation with the Netherwing faction, and some of them, such as "Overseeing and You: Making the Right Choices," will unlock additional daily quests.

  Continue completing quests and gathering Netherwing Eggs until you reach exalted reputation with the Netherwing faction.

Obtaining Your Mount

  Accept the quest "Bow to the Highlord" from Taskmaster Varkule Dragonbreath, deliver it to Overlord Mor'ghor and accept the "Lord Illidan Stormrage" follow-up quest. In an in-game event, you will fly to Shattrath City on the back of a Netherwing dragon.

  Deliver the quest to Barthamus, located in Shattrath City, close to where the Netherwing dragon lands. This will unlock a quest from each of the Netherwing drakes surrounding him.

  Accept and complete the quest from the Netherwing drake, matching the color of the mount you want.
