How to Make the Purple Roses in Plant Tycoon

Players are challenged to find the six Magic Plants of Isola in "Plant Tycoon," the plant-growing and selling simulator developed by LDW Software. Along the way, you can breed new and interesting types of plants, collect species of bugs, develop your nursery and sell your plants. One of the flowers you can breed is the Viola, a beautiful purple rose that is an offshoot of the more common red and blue rose varieties. Once you can figure out how breed a plant bearing Violas, you might have a solid moneymaker on your hands.

Instructions

  Obtain a plant bearing the "Mystic" purple flower and another bearing the "Fabled" blue rose. You can get these by buying and growing the appropriate seeds from Gardening Supplies or by breeding them from the cross-pollination chart. (See Resources.)

  Cross-breed your two plants. You can cross pollinate two mature plants by selecting one plant, selecting the pollen from the menu, and dragging it to the other plant.

  Harvest the seeds from your plant after a short time. You can harvest seeds by selecting the plant and selecting the seed from the menu.

  Plant the resulting seed and wait for it to grow. The mature plant will bear Violas, a purple rose variety.
