How to Mod Silkroad

"Silkroad" is an online multi-player game that allows players to create a character and level to become more powerful, defeat enemies and gather items. Mods for "Silkroad" can help the player by changing default interface designs, armor and weapon designs and core game play mechanics. To install the mods, you must replace some data files in the "Silkroad" installation directory. Before installing any mods, you should make backup copies of the data files and any other game information.

  Download the "Silkroad" mod that you wish to install. Mods can be found on the Silkroad Forums, Gamerzplanet and MmorpGuides.

  Open your "Silkroad" installation directory, located on your main hard drive in the "Program Files" directory.

  Open the "Data" folder. Double click the mod download file to extract its contents. Place all of the ".pk2" files from the mod folder into the "Data" folder. If prompted to replace already existing files, click "Yes" to accept.

  Load "Silkroad" to test the new mod.
