How to Create a RSPS With MTP

A RuneScape Private Server (RSPS) gives you control over all elements of the game, from player spawning locations to the stats of weapons. A crucial component of any RSPS is the source code from which the server is made. There are hundreds of kinds of base sources, and one is called MTP. Each source code has a slightly different set of starting statistics and features. MTP, for example, does not cause players to drop their items when they are killed in a player-versus-player duel. Expect the setup process to take about 20 minutes.

  Download the latest version of the Java Development Kit (JDK). Follow the installation instructions that come with the JDK once it downloads.

  Download the MTP source code for your RSPS. This code is free and available online.

  Download a free extractor program, such as WinRar, if you do not have one. Otherwise, right-click the downloaded source package and select extract. Choose a save location for the source content, such as in your Program Files.

  Open the MTP server folder. Locate the file called "compiler." Right-click it and select "Edit" to open it in a text editor. On the line that says "title," add the name you want your server to have. For example, the line of code can look like this: "title mymtpserver." Press "File" and "Save." Repeat this process for the nearby file called "Run.java."

  Double-click the files you just changed to compile your game and then run it. Create an account. Now you can play.
