How to Choose a Character in StarCraft II

"StarCraft II" is a real-time strategy game released by Blizzard Entertainment in July of 2010 and is a sequel to the original "StarCraft" released in March of 1998. "StarCraft II" displays an entirely new online play and user system, making use of Battle.net to give both online battles and single-player achievements more features. One new option is to give your Battle.net profile a character icon that functions similar to an avatar. This character is connected to your entire Battle.net account, showing up in-game and on the "StarCraft II" website.

Instructions

    • 1

Open "StarCraft II" on your computer, then log in to your Battle.net account as you would normally to start playing.

    • 2

Click your portrait in the upper right corner of the screen next to your name and achievement points, then click "Rewards" on the menu that appears in the screen below.

    • 3

Click once on any of the illuminated characters you see to select that character for your profile. The changes take effect immediately. Any characters you cannot select will be greyed out and a lock icon will be displayed over on that character. These icons can be unlocked by completing various objectives in the game; mouse over a locked portrait to see the requirements for each one.
