Instructions
Browse through your file system and find the location of the "Soundtrack" folder, which contains all of the files required for the add-on to function. Open the folder that contains your "World of Warcraft" application. Find and open the "Interface" folder contained within; this folder will contain a folder labeled "AddOns." Drag the "Soundtrack" folder to the "AddOns" folder.
Open the "Soundtrack" folder. Find the "SoundtrackMusic" contained within. Move this folder up one level, to the "AddOns" folder. Open the "SoundtrackMusic" folder. Copy any MP3 files that you wish to play in game to the "SoundtrackMusic" folder.
Return to the "Soundtrack" folder and launch the application labeled "GenerateMyLibrary.py." Press the "Enter" key when prompted. Wait for the application to finish running its script, then close the application window.
Start the "World of Warcraft" application. Input your login information and click on the "Login" button. Choose a character to play and click on "Enter World." Press "Enter" and type "/soundtrack" into the text box, without including the quotation marks. Press "Enter" again to bring up the "Soundtrack" options window.
Browse the tabs located along the bottom edge of the options window. Click on one of the tabs labeled "Battle," "Bosses," "Zones" or "Dances." Browse the event options shown along the right side of the options window.
Click on an event. Review the contents of the track library, displayed on the right side of the options window. Select the MP3 file that you wish to play when your selected event occurs. Click on the check box located next to the selected MP3 file. Repeat as desired.
Click on the tab labeled "Options." Review the available options and make any desired changes. Click on the button labeled "Close"; the game will now play the selected MP3 files when the appropriate event occurs.
