Description
Red spiders' eggs are depicted as clusters of small red oblong shapes. Although their weight is negligible, you are not able to stack them. When you examine them in the context of the game, the descriptive text reads: "Eewww!"
Using the Eggs
You need Herblore, also known as Herblaw, to make potions using red spiders' eggs. At level 22, you can mix them with an unfinished harralander potion -- created by combining a clean harralander herb with a vial of water -- to make a stat restore potion, which adds points to your statistic scores if they have been reduced. At level 63 you can combine the eggs with an unfinished snapdragon potion to make a super stat restore potion. At level 73 you can combine coconut milk, a cactus spine and red spiders' eggs to make a super weapon poison. You can pay the Varrock Apothecary five coins to mix a strength potion from limpwort root and red spiders' eggs. After completing the Tower of Life quest, you can combine the eggs with a fresh sardine to create a fish-spider hybrid called a Spidine, which attacks you. You can kill it for experience and for the items it drops.
Where to Find the Eggs
You can pick up red spiders' eggs in the following game locations: Arandar Pass; the gate to Tirannwn; Karamja Volcano, Varrock Sewers; and the Wilderness sections of the Edgeville Dungeon. In the last location you can find groups of red spiders' eggs at a spawn point. You must fight the poisonous adult red spiders that are guarding the eggs before you can take them.
Creatures that Drop the Eggs
In addition to picking up eggs from their spawn points after fighting the red spiders, you can obtain them by killing certain other monsters, including Cave Bugs, Cave Crawlers, Cockroach Drones, Giant Frogs and Greater Reborn Mages. Spidines drop red spiders' eggs when killed. If you use a Summoning Scroll to summon a Spirit Spider familiar, a number of red spiders' eggs spawn around your character automatically.
