Instructions
Read the game instructions carefully. Be ready to search the background when you begin, as many hidden object games have a time limit in which you must find the objects. The first time you look at the background, scan it for any hidden objects that seem to jump out at you, as some hidden objects will be obvious. Find the easiest ones first.
Divide the background picture into sections. Depending upon the complexity of the background, divide it into four to six equally sized sections, and examine the background one section at a time. Sectioning off the background and thereby reducing the sizes of your search areas will help you to find more difficult objects.
Examine the background closely each time it is presented. Some hidden object games present a hidden object background scene, progress to another game sequence and then return to the same hidden object background with subtle changes. Items from the previous level are often removed and new items are often added. Noticing the changes will help you find objects faster, since many of the new objects that you need to find are hidden within the new items.
