How to Create Socket in Grand Chase

"Grand Chase" is a free-to-play massively multiplayer online role-playing game for the PC. It is a two-dimensional side-scrolling game in which players can create a character and level them up by defeating monsters throughout the game. Some items in the game contain sockets that can be filled using a Monster Card. These cards are obtained from defeating monsters and can add new stats or abilities to equipment. You can also create a socket in an item which contains fewer than four sockets using a Socket Gem.

Instructions

  Go to the game's Item Shop either through its website (see References) or from the in-game menu.

  Locate the Socket Gem in the Item Shop, and purchase it for 100 Cash Points each. Cash Points are a secondary currency in the game bought with real-world currency. You can purchase 1,000 Cash Points for $1 through the Item Shop.

  Log in to the game and load your character. The Socket Gem should be in your inventory. Right-click on the Socket Gem to use it, and then click on the piece of equipment in which you would like to create an additional socket. A new socket will appear as long as the equipment has less than four sockets.
