How to Get More Equus on Howrse

In "Howrse," the online game in which you raise and breed horses, Equus is the game currency. You use it to buy a variety of items, tools and services including food and gear, a companion such as a cat or zebra, boarding, other horses or related animals such as unicorns. In "Howrse," you get more Equus in primarily three ways -- you earn it, you participate in sales or auctions or you win it.

Instructions

  Get a job at an equestrian center and every day complete any tasks necessary to care for, train, compete or breed horses to earn Equus.

  Care for your horse(s) and complete the quests given to you by Ow, the monkey who guides you through the game and he will sometimes give you Equus.

  Train a horse after you register it at an equestrian center to get Equus for completing lessons.

  Resell items from your inventory, including manure, at the Breeder's Shop for Equus. In addition, sell a horse at auction either to a specific breeder or to the Save Haven horse refuge.

  Enter a horse in general competitions and the Grand Prix. Success in competitions wins you Equus. In addition, as of August 2011, all participants in the Grand Prix get 1000 Equus and the first 100 get 2000 Equus.

  Buy a Horn of Plenty at the Black Market with a pass. The horn can give you many items including Equus.

  Become an equestrian center owner and offer items and services for sale, such as crops and animal boarding.
