What Are the Speed Enhancement Trinkets in World of Warcraft?

Trinkets that enhance your speed in "World of Warcraft" fall under two categories, those that increase your running speed and those that increase your mounted speed. Both of these effects are quite rare: trinkets that increase your running speed are only available to characters with a specific profession, while those that increase your mounted speed are only available for one or two levels.
  1. Figurine - Golden Hare

    • The Figurine - Golden Hare trinket is a bind-on-pickup trinket restricted to characters with the jewelcrafting profession. Equipping this trinket increases your movement speed by 8 percent. Additionally, using it will increase your movement speed by a further 30 percent for six seconds; this effect has a cooldown time of 20 minutes. The design that teaches you how to make this trinket is a rare drop from enemies between level 30 and level 40; if you want to obtain it, your best bet is checking the auction house regularly.

    Figurine - Ruby Hare

    • The Figurine - Ruby Hare trinket is a bind-on-pickup trinket restricted to characters with the jewelcrafting profession. Unlike the Golden Hare, equipping this trinket doesn't grant an increase in movement speed; however, the six-second 30 percent movement speed increase granted by using it only has a cooldown time of three minutes rather than 20. You can learn how to make this trinket from any jewelcrafting trainer.

    Riding Crop

    • The Riding Crop is a trinket crafted by leatherworkers. Equipping this trinket grants you a 10 percent increase in mounted speed; however, your character must be at least level 69 to equip this trinket, and the effect stops working once your character reaches level 71.

    Skybreaker Whip

    • The Skybreaker Whip trinket is a reward for defeating Captain Skyshatter in the "Dragonmaw Race: Captain Skyshatter" quest. Equipping this trinket grants you a 10 percent increase in mounted speed; your character must be at least level 70 to accept the quest that rewards this trinket, and the effect stops working once your character reaches level 71.

    Removed Trinkets

    • The Nifty Stopwatch was a trinket rewarded by a quest in the Badlands zone. Using this trinket granted you a 40 percent movement speed increase for 10 seconds, with a 30-minute cooldown time. The Carrot on a Stick trinket, rewarded by a quest in Zul'Farrak, increased your mounted speed by 3 percent when equipped, although the effect stopped working once your character reached level 71. The quests that rewarded these trinkets were removed from the game with the "Cataclysm" expansion; however, if you obtained them before the release of the expansion and didn't destroy or sell them, they still work.
