How Can I Block YoVille From Showing on My Facebook Wall?

You can block YoVille updates from appearing on your Facebook Wall at any time. YoVille, developed by Zynga, is a game based on YoVille characters that you create. These characters can interact with your Facebook friends. You can purchase clothes, pets, vehicles and houses for your YoVille characters. However, seeing constant updates for you and your friends who play the game can become annoying. If this happens, block YoVille updates from appearing on your Wall.

Instructions

Remove Your YoVille Posts

  Log in to your Facebook account.

  Hover your mouse over your Wall post in either your News Feed or your Facebook Profile. Click the "X" that appears in the upper right corner of the YoVille post.

  Select "Hide all by YoVille."

  Delete the app from your account completely by clicking on "Account" in the top right corner of any Facebook page. Select "Account Settings." Choose "Applications from the menu in the left column. Click on "YoVille" in the list of applications. Click "Remove app" to the right of the YoVille listing.
Remove A Friend's YoVille Posts

  Hover your mouse over your friend's YoVille update in your News Feed.

  Click the "X" that appears in the upper right corner of your friend's YoVille post.

  Select "Hide all by YoVille." This hides all of your friend's YoVille posts as well as those of other friends who play the game.
