How to Play Furry Muck Using HyperTerminal

"Furry Muck" is a combination online social hangout and role-playing game in which players create an anthropomorphic animal character and interact with similar characters in a text-based game world. This game can be accessed through a dedicated MU* client, or through a basic telnet client such as the one pre-packaged with Windows. Players can also access it through HyperTerminal, a downloadable telnet client for the Windows OS.

Instructions

     Launch HyperTerminal.

     Type in a name for your connection session and select an icon, then click the "OK" button.

     Type "muck.furry.com," the telnet address of "Furry Muck," into the "Host Address" text box, then type "8888" into the "Port" box immediately beneath that.

     Click the "OK" button. You will automatically connect to the game client.

     Log into the game with your user name and password as normal.
