How to Make Zbots Work With CSDM

A Zbot, is a bot designed for the game "Counter Strike: Source." You can use Zbots in the Deathmatch mode of the game. Deathmatch is different than standard play in Counterstrike Source, as there is no direct objective. Deathmatch is commonly used by "Counterstrike: Source" players to practice their aim. Often, there are not enough players in a Deathmatch server to facilitate worthwhile practice. You can load Zbots into your own private, hosted server to compensate for the lack of real players.

     Run the "ZBOT.exe" file. This will install ZBOT into your primary "Counterstrike: Source" folder.

     Open "Counterstrike: Source" and host your own private Deathmatch server.

     Press "H" to enable the ZBO GUI menu.

     Select bot difficulty.

     Press "~" to open the developer's console.

     Type "Zbot Quota X" where "X" represents the number of bots you want in the server.

     Type "Bot_Add_ct-add" to add a Counter-Terrorist bot to the server.

     Type "Bot_add_Tr-add" to add a Terrorist bot to the server.
