"Lord of the Rings Online" is a free-to-play massively multiplayer online roleplaying game set in the world of Middle Earth, allowing players to meet and help characters from the "Lord of the Rings" books during the course of the game's storyline. You can create characters belonging to the elf, hobbit, human or dwarf race, then complete quests and defeat enemies to gain experience and increase in level, allowing you to defeat more powerful foes and obtain powerful equipment. Selecting a vocation for your character allows you to learn three different professions and is used to collect materials and craft useful items and equipment; you can then use these items yourself or sell them to other players.

Travel to a large city, such as Celondim, Thorin's Hall, Michel Delving or Bree-town.

Make your way to the crafting area of the city and locate a Master or Mistress of Apprentices.
