One secret to effective farming is choosing your target. Higher-level monsters naturally provide greater rewards. In this case, the maximum recommended level discrepancy is five levels. For example, if your character is Level 20, then focus on monsters who are between Levels 20 and 25. Additionally, you need to know which monsters drop the items you seek. Also known as "mobs," monsters are found in groups lurking within certain areas. Once you know where to look and whom to attack, you have the necessary information to begin effectively farming.
