How to Get to Cataclysm From Stormwind

Vash'jr

  Head to "The Trade District," located in the southern region of "Stormwind." Right-click the "Hero's Call Board" and accept the "Hero's Call: Vash'jr!" quest. Travel to "Stormwind Harbor," located in the northwestern region of the zone. Find "Recruiter Burns," located near the northernmost pier in the harbor.

  Speak to "Recruiter Burns" to complete the "Hero's Call: Vash'jr!" quest. Accept the "Call of Duty" quest that he offers. Walk to the end of the northernmost pier and wait for a ship to arrive. Board the ship and wait for it to depart.

  Remain aboard the ship as it sails; a sea monster will attack, knocking you under the water. Wait until you are able to regain control of your character; you are now in the "Vash'jr" zone. Speak to "Erunak Stonespeaker," located in the northern region of the zone, to complete the "Call of Duty" quest.

Mount Hyjal

  Head to "The Trade District," located in the southern region of "Stormwind." Right-click the "Hero's Call Board" and accept the "Hero's Call: Mount Hyjal!" quest. Travel to "Stormwind Keep," located in the eastern region of the zone. Find "Cenarion Emissary Jademoon," located within the keep.

  Speak to "Cenarion Emissary Jademoon" and select the option to request transportation to "Moonglade"; you will arrive at the village of "Nighthaven," located in the northern region of "Moonglade."

  Speak to "Emissary Windsong," located to the south of "Nighthaven," to complete the "Hero's Call: Mount Hyjal!" quest. Accept the "As Hyjal Burns" quest that she offers. Speak to the dragon "Aronus," located next to "Emissary Windsong." Select the option to fly to "Mount Hyjal."

  Wait until "Aronus" lands, depositing you at "Nordrassil," located in the northern region of "Mount Hyjal." Speak to "Ysera," located in the building situated by the nearby lake, to complete the "As Hyjal Burns" quest.
