Blocking a DC hack in "MapleStory" can be challenging and there's no tactic that's proven to be 100% effective. However, changing the priority of your process in the computer's task manager has been the most effective way to block the hack. "DC" refers to a hack that disconnects a user from the game. "MapleStory" is a global massively multiplayer online role-playing game that allows users to choose identities, battle monsters, complete quests and make friends.

Press the "Ctrl," "Alt" and delete buttons at the same time on a Windows PC. A menu should come up with several options. Choose "Start Task Manager."

Select the "Processes" tab from the Task Manager and locate MapleStory.exe from the list of active processes.
