How to Get to Stonecore in Cataclysm

The Stonecore level 82 to 84 dungeon is located in the Deepholm area of "World of Warcraft: Cataclysm." You will be transported there automatically if you queue for it in the dungeon finder, or get it as a random dungeon. However, to purposely access the Deepholm area and fly to the Stonecore, you need to complete a quest to unlock a portal in the Earthshrine of Stormwind or Orgrimmar.

  Pick up the quest Hero's Call: Deepholm (Alliance) or Warchief's Command: Deepholm! (Horde) at Level 82 or over from the command board in your faction's home city.

  Report to the appropriate Earthen Ring NPC at the Earthshrine in Stormwind or Orgrimmar.

  Accept the quest "The Maelstrom." You will be sent to Thrall, who will send you through the Maelstrom to Deepholm. Completing the quest unlocks the Orgrimmar or Stormwind portals to Deepholm as well as the return portals from Deepholm to your faction's home city.

  Exit the Temple of Earth, and fly around to the west. The entrance to Stonecore is at coordinates 47, 52, approximately two-thirds of the way up the side of the temple.
