How to Make Your Own 3D Room

Find a game that allows you to design your own 3D room. "3B" is one software system that lets you turn things like your Myspace page into a 3D gallery, but more traditional room design can be found with games such as "My 3D Room." These are just two examples; there are numerous other games out in the market.

Download the game, and allow it to load in a browser window. Some, but not all, games will require you to be a member of the website that hosts them. Very often, as with "My 3D Room" you can play the game for free.

Choose your view of the room, using your mouse to rotate until you're looking right where you want to. Paint the walls and alter the floor until you have the colors you want.

Select the furnishings. Different games will have different items, ranging from couches and comforters to beds and nightstands. Choose your items by clicking on them with your left mouse button, and position the items in your room. You can create whatever sort of interior design scheme you want to, ranging from a girly room with pink ruffles and teddy bears to a neutral family den all done in earth tones with a comfortable couch.

Save the room when you're done. Alternatively, if you need to pause your room creation, save the design and come back to it later. You can always change around what you have, which is half the fun of a room-design game.
