How to Make a Catapult in Fantastic Contraption

"Fantastic Contraption" is an online physics-based puzzle game for PC. Each level has a pink object that has to reach the "goal" area by any means possible. Players achieve this by assembling contraptions with a variety of parts. You can only make the contraptions in the "workshop" area, which is denoted by a blue outline. A catapult is one of many the contraptions you can assemble with the available parts. You will find it useful for launching an object over obstacles and into the goal area.

Instructions

  Navigate to the Fantastic Contraptions website and start the game (see the Resources section). Left click on the level where you want to build the catapult to select it. The level called "Mind The Gap" is ideal for building your first catapult.

  Left click the blue "Move Stuff" icon on the top of the game screen then shift the pink object out of the way and to the left. This gives you more space to work on your catapult.

  Left click the pink "Counterclockwise Wheel" at the top of the screen, then left click in the upper-right-hand side of the building area to place it.

  Left click the blue "Water Rod" icon at the top of the screen. Left click and hold down the mouse button on the small circle situated on the left of the counterclockwise wheel.

  While holding down the left mouse button, drag the cursor from the counterclockwise wheel to the ground below it. If done correctly you will have a blue line running from the wheel to the ground.

  Left click and hold down the mouse button on the spot where the water rod touches the ground. Drag the cursor back to the middle spot on the counterclockwise wheel.

  Left click and hold down the mouse button on the spot in the bottom middle of the counterclockwise wheel and connect it to the ground as before. Connect the spot where it touches the ground to the spot on the right-hand side of the counterclockwise wheel.

  Connect the left spot of the water rod on the ground with the right spot. When completed, it should look like two blue lines coming down from the counterclockwise wheel with a blue triangle in the middle of them.

  Left click the solid-wood rod at the top of the screen and then click and hold down the left mouse button on the center point of the counterclockwise wheel. While holding down the left mouse button, drag the cursor to the left at a downward angle. The length should be a little greater than the size of the goal object.

  Left click the blue "Move Stuff" icon at the top of the screen and drag the goal object so that it is just above the solid-wood rod. Left click the green "Start" button on the top left of the screen to activate the catapult and launch the pink object.
