How to Vanquish the Scar in Guild Wars

"Guild Wars" is a massive multiplayer online role-playing game, not unlike "World of Warcraft." In broad strokes the games are similar, with players exploring the world, completing quests and fighting monsters to advance in level and become more powerful. One of the quests involves going through and depopulating an area called The Scar of monsters. This is no mean feat and requires a party of adventurers.

  Travel through the Scar, and test yourself against the monsters found there before accepting the quest. There are centaurs, giants, griffins, devourers, dune burrowers, enchanted warriors, scarabs and hydras. If you can fight these creatures and defeat them with relative ease, then you are ready to try the quest for vanquishing the Scar.

  Collect a party of equally powerful characters. A party of four to five should suffice, but the more characters you have, the faster the quest can be completed. Once you have your adventuring party, speak to Zaishen Vanquish, and accept the quest he gives you to destroy the monsters in the Scar.

  Travel into the Scar, and fight the monsters there. You will have to kill over 200 creatures to complete the quest, so make sure you have all types of combat, magic and healing covered. This way, you can both win initial battles and still keep yourself strong as you progress. Stock up on all necessary items you'll need, before accepting the quest.
