Play the dressing room mini game. Click the "Mini Games" icon on the right-hand side of the screen, to bring up a new page within your gaming window. Click the "Dressing Room Game" icon to start playing. Choose from a list of clothing items to match a given item. Click "Make the Sale" to finish the matching process. You will be given XP points, which will go toward leveling you up.
Clean your store. Each day you visit your boutique, you'll find a mess of clothes scattered around. Click on each item to clean it up, and gain a few experience points. Visit your friends' stores when you're finished, and clean their shops as well. This will give you the squeaky clean bonus, which will contribute added experience points to your avatar, thus helping you move up a level
Choose your store's stock carefully. It can be easy to fill your boutique with the newest, coolest fashion items, but those don't necessarily earn you profits. The more profit you make, the more experience points you'll gain. Calculate the return on your clothing investments before purchasing them from your catalog. Only purchase the clothing items with the highest returns.
Avoid decorating your store with too many items until you can really afford it. Adding furniture and decorations costs money, but it doesn't give you any money in return. Funneling money into your store's stock will allow you to make more profits, thus increasing your experience points.
Send gifts to your friends, and ask them to send you gifts back. Send gifts by clicking the "Gifts" icon near the top of the game window. Click "Send" beneath the item you want to give, and then choose which friend you want to send it to. Ask her to send you a gift back. The more gifts you send and receive, the more gifts you'll be able to sell in your store, which will increase your profit levels -- giving you experience points.
