How to Make a Pathway in Minecraft

"Minecraft" is a computer game with a simple premise, letting players create any structure or object they desire. Players can gather resources through mining and then create anything they want with those resources. Many players choose to make a home or a base of operation, which is helpful for storing resources and providing a safe place to stay at night. If you wish to create a pathway leading from your home or anywhere else, you will need to craft tools and collect resources for the project.

  Load "Minecraft" and enter a single player or online game.

  Chop down wood to create a simple wooden pickaxe. Mine with the wooden pickaxe to collect resources from the ground. Once you find iron, craft a new iron pickaxe and a shovel.

  Clear the area for your pathway and dig a one-block deep trench that is several blocks wide. Flatten the land and lead the path toward your structure or wherever you want it to end.

  Collect the materials you wish to use for your pathway. Use cobblestone, which is extremely common and found anywhere underground, or choose a rarer material such as diamonds.

  Place blocks of the material down in the trench to create the pathway.

  Line your pathway with torches or other decorations to suit your preferences.
