Weapon Upgrade
The easiest way to get the glow effect is with a weapons ugrade. Once your weapons and armor are all +3 or more, they will begin to glow. They will glow at the level of the least upgraded weapon. There is an increased glow effect at +4. To upgrade your weapon, make sure it is not in use, select a sunstone and double-click the weapon you want to upgrade. The upgrade will succeed at levels +1 and +2, but has only a partial success rate at +3 and above.
Feet Glow
If you have a higher level on your shoes than on the rest of your armor, you will be able to see a glow around your feet. You will need to have a level differential of at least +2 on the shoes vs. the armor, but the glow will exist.
Bloom Option
There is a way to achieve the bloom effect without upgrading the weaponry, but it is slightly technical. You will need to go to your program files and manually change the settings to allow the bloom option. Follow this path: Go to the "C:" drive, then click "Program Files," "Gpotato," "Flyff." Enter "Neuz.ini". This should give you the bloom effect when you reopen the "FlyFF" game.
Custom Glow Effects
There are several options for custom glow effects that have been created by users (for a link to one, see Resources). Extract the file to: c:/programfiles/gpotato/flyff/SFX/texture and run the file. Once you have run the file, reopen "FlyFF"; you should be able to implement the new glow effects.
Elemental Upgrade
You can achieve the weapons upgrade by using an element card. Un-equip the item, select the elemental card you wish to use for the upgrade and double click the item you wish to upgrade. It will show a hammer and anvil above the item, and if the upgrade succeeds you will see green lines over the weapon you are upgrading.
