How to Make a Part Glow in Battleships Forever

"Battleships Forever" is a free real-time strategy game available online for download. In the game, you assemble a fleet of ships and wage war in outer space with various opponents. The graphics in the game are unique in that the ships are semi-transparent, so you can see the framework of how they are built. When you use certain features in the game, such as shields, the area of the ship that is protected will light up.

Instructions

  Launch "Battleships Forever" from your computer's desktop.

  Select a ship from the list of options in the main menu, then begin a new game of Battleships Forever. You will notice that in the lower left corner of the screen there are a few item boxes. These include upgrades, weapons, boosts and shields.

  Click on the "Shield" box and drag the shield over the area of your ship you would like to protect.

  Press "T" while holding down the mouse button and the shield will be applied to that part of the ship. That part of the ship will then glow brightly, signifying that it is protected. It will stop glowing when the shield is done.
