How to Get Under Falling Blobs in Steamworks Island

The Steamworks Island level of "Poptropica" features several moving mechanical parts and obstacles that make exploring more difficult. One section in the factory has a moving walkway that is moving in the opposite direction of a plant that is dropping blobs to damage you and prevent you from going in that direction. The moving walkway makes this part tricky, but if you run at the right time you'll be able to sneak in under one of the falling blobs and continue on your way.

Instructions

  Play through Steamworks Island until you click on the red lever in the factory. This will cause the platform behind you to move up and down.

  Jump onto the rising platform, then jump to the right when the platform reaches its apex. Go to the right and jump up onto a green vine. Climb up the vine, then jump to the left onto a moving walkway. You'll see a plant ahead that is dropping green blobs on a regular basis from one location. The moving walkway will be pushing you away from the plant.

  Run to the left and avoid the falling blobs. Time your run so that you're running under the falling blobs just as one of them is falling past the walkway. It's OK if the blob hits you when you're already past it, as it will just push you in the direction you need to go.
