Girl Sense is a website dedicated to fashion and design for girls. One of the features the site boasts is a studio where members can create their own clothing designs. Some of the designs, like making a sparkly or shiny dress, can take a little time and experimentation to get right. Fortunately, getting a shiny dress shouldn't take too much extra time if you follow the right steps.

  Log on to your Girl Sense account. Go to the dress making area. Put the cut of dress you want on the model.

  On the left side of the screen, click the checkerboard button to check the fabrics you have available. Select the glittery gold pattern and apply it to the dress.

  Select the entire dress. Fill the dress in white, and slide the tone scale located on the right hand side of the screen to increase and decrease the sparkly effect. Once you have the proper amount of shiny sparkle on the dress, choose different colors and experiment with patterns. Alter the dress this way until you find just the right look.
