How to Start the Elf's Request Quest in Mabinogi Generation 9

"Mabinogi" is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game that was released in America by Nexon. Its missions are organized into "generations," which are then organized into "chapters." Each of these chapters has an independent storyline, and multiple chapters may be played at the same time, as long as the order of generations is followed within the chapter. A small set of side missions exist in Generation 9, the first generation of Chapter 3 (referred to as "Alchemist"). These are separate from the overall chapter and can only be played while you're engaged in that chapter. The missions start with the "Elf's Request" quest.

Instructions

  Play the game until you reach level 10. You can't play Generation 9 missions at a level that's lower than this. Log into the game and you'll receive a message from the non-player character Adniel, the gold dragon, that officially starts the generation.

  Speak with the elven non-player character Granat in the elf headquarters near the east gate of Taillteann. To reach Taillteann, go west from the Dugald Aisle logging camp, enter the Ulaid Forest and then progress through Sliab Cuilin. You can also reach Taillteann by going northwest from Dunbarton, heading towards Rabbie Dungeon and then progressing through Abb Neagh. Taillteann is also accessible by heading north from Tara and going through Corrib Valley.

  Speak to Castanea, another elven non-player character, at Filia in Connous. Reach Connous by heading east from Rano. Enter the Longa Desert and exit through the north to get to Filia.

  Speak to Andras, the human non-player character and primary quest-giver for Generation 9. She is in front of the Taillteann headquarters.

  Speak to Castanea again to start the "Elf's Request" quest. She is still at Filia in Connous. You'll receive an emerald arrow, which is necessary for completing the quest.
