How to Send Monsters to Battle on Backyard Monsters

Backyard Monsters is a free strategy game playable on Facebook. The goal of the game is to build defenses and raise monsters in order to protect your backyard. You then send out monsters to attack other players while defending your own area from retaliation. The game encourages you to attack other players in order to get the resources needed for upgrading your backyard. There must be enough space for your monsters in your monster housing; otherwise, they will not leave the hatchery.

Instructions

  Log in to your Facebook account and click the link on the left side of your screen to start the game.

  Click the "Buildings" button on the bottom right side of the screen and then click the "Buildings" tab. Click "Housing," then click "Build." Place the structure anywhere in your backyard to start the building process.

  Select the "Flinger" from the "Buildings" tab, then place it anywhere in your backyard. Select the "Map Room" from the "Buildings" tab and place it while waiting for the "Flinger" to be completed.

  Left click on your "Flinger" and then select "View Map" once both your "Flinger" and "Map Room" are completed.

  Click and hold down the left mouse button and then move your mouse in the direction you want to scroll to move around the map.

  Left click on the enemy that you want to send your monsters to attack and then click "Attack" from the pop-up menu.

  Click the "Plus" button on the top left side of the screen underneath the "Flinger" heading to increase the amount of monsters you want to send on the attack.

  Left click on the area in the enemy backyard where you want your monsters to attack. Your monsters will drop from the sky and start attacking everything in sight.

  Click "End Attack" on the bottom left of the screen to recall your monsters or wait until the enemy town hall is destroyed. Then, click "Return Home" from the pop-up menu that appears.
