How to Make a Monster Trap in Minecraft

"Minecraft" is a creation game that allows players to create structures and items with resources gathered from mining. During the day, players are free to gather resources and build freely. At night enemies such as spiders, skeletons, zombies and creepers will appear and attack players and possibly destroy structures. To avoid this, players can make a monster trap. Monster traps are simple traps to capture and kill any monster that attempts to attack you or your buildings.

     Load "Minecraft" and enter a game world.

     Level the area around your construction project to make a flat surface.

   • 3

     Dig a trench around your structure two or three blocks deep. You can fill it with water or lava if you wish, or simply leave it empty. Leave a space for you to get back inside the door.

     Go inside your structure when it gets dark and any monsters chasing you will get fall in to the trap and die once the sun comes out.
