How to Link Flying Assaulter and Bloody Storm

MapleStory is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game in which players design a custom character and enter a vast world of adventure and battle. MapleStory uses a side-scrolling format that is reminiscent of older platforming games. Players select from a range of professions that determine what abilities they can use in battle. The Dual Blade class is a specialized form of the Thief profession. Dual Blades can link multiple special abilities to inflict incredible amounts of damage in a short period. "Flying Assaulter" and "Bloody Storm" are two high level Dual Blade skills that are often linked in a combo.

  Run MapleStory.

  Log in to the Dual Blade character profile you wish to use.

  Level up your Dual Blade until it learns the "Flying Assaulter" and "Bloody Storm" skills. These skills are not available until well into the game. In order to learn "Flying Assaulter" you will need to train your "Self-Haste" skill to the maximum level. In addition, your "Jump" skill must be at level 120 or higher. In order to learn "Bloody Storm" you must train your "Slash Storm" skill to level 20. You can level up skills by using them in battle, or by paying a trainer in any of the major cities.

  Locate a group of enemies you wish to fight.

  Jump into the air as you approach the group of enemies. "Flying Assaulter" is an aerial attack that can only be used while you are in the air. It will send you in a diagonal trajectory toward the nearest enemy. Any enemy struck by "Flying Assaulter" will have the chance to become stunned, a great setup for using your "Bloody Storm" skills.

  Use the "Bloody Storm" ability as soon as your character hits the ground. "Bloody Storm" is a lightning-fast attack that inflicts damage over a large area, to multiple enemies. You will need precise timing to get the most out of this linked combo. If you are able to trigger "Bloody Storm" at the moment your character lands, you will be immune to almost all incoming damage until the "Bloody Storm" animation finishes. This makes the "Flying Assaulter/Bloody Storm" link combination extremely useful for taking down large mobs of enemies without dying.
