How to Do the Fourth Assignment on MapleStory

The "Fourth Assignment" is a quest in the massively multiplayer online role-playing game "MapleStory." It is available to any Aran-class character that is over Level 28 and has completed "The Puppeteer's Cave" quest. The "Fourth Assignment" requires you to obtain a password to enter the cave. As you progress through the quest, you will also gain access to "The Cave's Password" mini-quest. Completing the "Fourth Assignment" earns you 110 experience points, and finishing "The Cave's Password" mini-quest awards you with 1,580 experience points.

Instructions

  Travel to the town of Sleepywood, which is located on Victoria Island.

  Walk to the right side of town and speak to Ilji, a non-playable character who is holding a wooden sword, to begin the quest. He will tell you to talk to the Mysterious Statue.

  Speak to the Mysterious Statue by double-clicking on the brown sculpture in the center of Sleepywood. "The Cave's Password" mini-quest will activate, and a message will pop up that asks you to collect 50 Evil Eye Tails.

  Go to Ellinia by exiting Sleepywood via the portal on the left side of town. You will be presented with multiple portals. Choose the portal in the center of the map on the right side, and then climb to the top of the next two maps.

  Exit Ellinia from the top portal and climb up two maps.

  Walk across the "Close to the Sky" map and enter the "Giant Tree" map. Use normal, fire and ice attacks to defeat the Evil Eyes here until you have the necessary 50 Evil Eye Tails.

  Return to the Mysterious Statue in Sleepywood and you will be given a password.

  Go to Lith Harbor by exiting Sleepywood via the left portal. From the "Six Path Crossway" map, choose the center portal on the left side, and then walk left through the next three screens.

  Speak to Tru in "Tru's Info Shop" to complete the "Fourth Assignment."
