Plants Vs. Zombies Zen Garden Cheats

"Plants Vs. Zombies" is a twist on a traditional tower defense game developed by Pop Cap Games. The player must defend his home from hordes of zombies by planting flowers and fungi with special defense powers. Zen garden is a non-combative level in which players can grow and sell flowers to make money.

Stinky the Snail
- Stinky is a small snail that slowly makes his way around the garden collecting your money. Feed him a piece of chocolate, which falls often from the sky, and he will speed up for one hour, collecting your money faster.
Fast Money
- You can use this cheat to grow plants more quickly and make more money. Open the zen garden in window mode, rather than full screen. Water your plants until they are full. Change the date on your computer to a day ahead and the plants will need to be watered again. Continue this process until the plants are fully grown.
More Marigolds
- Crazy Dave, the shopkeeper who sells plants, keeps three Marigolds a day. Marigolds can be sold for a profit of $1,500, making them a valuable commodity. As with the "Fast Money" cheat, changing the date on your computer while inside Crazy Dave's shop will grant the player access to three new Marigolds.
"Nighttime" Plants
- Players may notice their nighttime plants do not grow beyond the first stage; rather, they remain sleeping and do not produce any money. To make use of the nighttime plants, players must purchase a Mushroom Zen Garden. Once the sleeping plants are placed in the mushroom garden, they will continue to grow and can be sold for $10,000.
