Increase your combat skills until your combat level is at least 100. You only need a combat level of 40 to participate in Conquest, but the amount of Void Knight points you earn varies based on your current combat level. Players with a combat level of at least 100 get quadruple the normal amount of Void Knight points per match, the highest multiplier available. The combat skills are Attack, Strength, Ranged, Magic, Defense, Constitution, Prayer and Summoning. Your skill level increases as you use each skill.
Go to the pier at Port Sarim.
Talk to the Squire to go to the Void Knights' Outpost.
Enter the Conquest Training Facility in the outpost.
Walk downstairs. There are two doors that lead to the waiting rooms.
Enter the green door. The waiting room behind this door pairs you up with the first available opponent. The red door is used to play against specific people. It does not matter whether you win or lose, so your opponent does not matter.
Choose your forces in the pre-game menu. Conquest is a turn-based strategy game. You move pieces around the board to attempt to defeat your opponent's forces. It does not matter if you win or lose, so your force selection is not important.
Choose the unit you want to use on your turn. The movement range of that piece is displayed on the board.
Move the unit to one of the highlighted squares. Any enemy units that are in range to be attacked by your unit are highlighted.
Attack one of the enemy units in range. The opponent takes his turn after yours.
Repeat Steps 8 to 10 until one side wins. The amount of Void Knight points earned is based on how many turns the game lasts. Due to this, there is no reason to attempt to end the game before or after a specific number of turns.
Repeat Steps 6 to 11 for as long as desired.
