How to Open the Red Casket in Abyssea in Final Fantasy XI

"Final Fantasy XI" is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game published by Square Enix for PS2, Xbox 360 and PC. Set in the fantasy world of Vana'diel, players quest to complete objectives and gain rewards. In the region of Abyssea, players receive treasure caskets from defeated monsters. Blue caskets open automatically, but red or brown caskets require a two-digit code between 10 and 99 to unlock. A system of hints helps players work out the code through logic.

Instructions

  Examine the casket to receive a hint about the two-digit code. For example, you might be told that the second digit is even, or that the code is between 15 and 35.

  Repeat the examination until you have enough clues to get a rough idea about the code. For example, if you know the code is between 15 and 35, the first digit is even and one of the two numbers is 3, it follows logically that the code is 23.
- 3
  Attempt to enter the correct code. If you are incorrect, you will be informed that the number is higher or lower. Try again until the casket is unlocked.
