How to Beat WC3 Zombie Tag

The online gaming community favorite "World of Warcraft" series allows players to control customized in-game characters as they fight to survive in a hostile fantasy world. Amid the dragons, monsters and evildoers found in the main game are zombies, part of a downloadable mini-game called "Zombie Tag." This game isn't a schoolyard game of tag, either: like other games in the genre, it's about taking out the zombies and fighting to the finish.

Instructions

  Load a saved game on your laptop or PC or, if haven't done so and are a first-timer, download "Zombie Tag" from the Warcraft main site or from one of several Warcraft fan sites. Follow all the on-screen prompts to create your character and start the game. If you're returning to a saved game, choose to either go at it alone and play solo or find friends online to aid you.

  Arm yourself quickly by picking up as many items as you can find. The weapons range from melee weapons to ranged throwing weapons. Since there are several zombies that make up the horde, melee weapons are advised as they can fend off zombies long enough for you to change tactics, position or run if need be.

  Attack and kill at least one zombie that's closest to you. This alerts other zombies in the vicinity to you or your group's presence, which is what you want. Unlike other games of the genre where sneaking away to a safe house wins the game, "Zombie Tag" is about eliminating zombies and clearing the board. The trick is to kill enough zombies in order to get the first zombie boss to emerge. Once he does, run to town hall.

  Trap the boss in town hall. He has a hard time moving around in close quarters, so attack at will. After felling the boss, the same zombies you killed re-spawn. Repeat the above step to get the second boss to emerge; once he does, finish him off the same way you did the first. Any zombies killed after taking care of the second boss won't re-spawn, meaning there's less to deal with and you're closer to clearing the board.

  Kill more zombies. All in all, there are 85 of them. The third and final boss appears, and like his predecessors, he can be killed in the same manner by trapping him in town hall. Once the bosses are done, you're free to finish off the remaining horde. Depending on your character's powers, the easiest way is to get a group of zombies to chase you or a teammate to another location, cutting them off from the rest of the horde, and use dark magic or a shockwave to take them out in one shot. Repeat to this method to clear the board.
