How to Get the Bolt Cutters on Cryptids Island in Poptropica

The Cryptids Island level of "Poptropica" has you chasing down leads on various supernatural creature sightings around the world to get proof of their existence. The bolt cutters are found in Puerto Rico, but you won't be able to use them until you get to New Jersey. At that point, the bolt cutters will be very useful in acquiring a new motorcycle. This motorcycle will make getting around New Jersey much faster.

Instructions

  Get into the helicopter and select "Puerto Rico" as the destination. Go to the right and talk to the farmer and he will loan you his Jeep.

  Drive the Jeep to the gold star in the northwest corner of the map. Exit the Jeep and you'll be at a small farm.

  Go to the right and you'll see a tall hill with branches jutting out of the left side of it. Jump onto the lowest brand on the hill, then jump straight up by using the branch as a springboard. This happens automatically when you jump up on these branches.

  Jump up using the branches until you reach the top of the hill. Go to the right and walk onto the bolt cutters to collect them. They will be resting against a tree stump at the top of the hill.
