Poptropica Cheats for Counterfeit: How to Make it Back

Arrival

• Get to Counterfeit Island by riding the blimp or balloon. Use the map to find the island. When you arrive at Counterfeit Island, you will be near the museum. Walk to the right and head downtown. Enter Bobo's Clown Store and take a green balloon and another balloon of your choice. Walk to the right of the screen and head to the end of the Island zone to find a crying boy and a lady. Click on the crying boy to give him the green balloon. The boy will be carried up into the sky by the balloon. Go left to return downtown. Continue walking left, until you reach Main Street.

Main Street

• Find the Web Browser Internet Cafe and enter it. Go to the right and speak with the bearded man wearing a hat and holding a camera. He lost his tunnel tour tickets and needs your help. Leave the cafe and head right to find the Tunnel Tour building. Click on the garbage can to the right of the entrance of the Tunnel Tour. A window will open up onscreen with the garbage can contents. Click and drag the garbage away from the center of the window to find the tickets. Click on the tickets to pick them up. Return to the man in the Web Browser Internet Cafe. Look in your backpack/inventory and click on the tickets, then click "Use" to give the tickets to him.

Tunnel Tour

• Hand the other ticket to the green beret wearing woman standing outside the tunnel tour. Click on the gate to start the tour. Walk down the path. When you see a lightbulb hanging down in the center of the tunnel, jump up and grab onto the cable that the light is on. Climb the cable to the ceiling. On the right, at the top of the ceiling you will see a torn piece of a picture on another cable. The torn picture is a key that will unlock a secret door in the museum found later in the level. Jump onto the other cable and pass by the picture to pick it up. Jump down from the cable and follow the tunnel to reach the stairs that lead to the exit of the tour. Speak to the strange man wearing sunglasses and a trench coat waiting outside of the tunnel tour. Walk up and to the right outside of the tunnel tour building to find another piece of the torn picture. Head over to the docks. Walk to the left, then jump on top of the mast of the fishing boat to find the next piece of the torn picture.

Museum

• Go into to the museum on Main Street. Speak with the security guard, and then go find the assistant curator standing at the right, at the top of the stairs. Click on the curator and he'll ask for your help moving paintings to their correct exhibit locations in the museum. Once you have returned the paintings to their right spots, go to the Forgery Detection Lab in the museum. Speak with the curator, then begin the training. Start by clicking on the left-most desk. Follow the instructions on the screen to find the forged paintings. When you are done, the curator will give you a key to the supply room. Leave the lab, walk right and follow the signs to the statue room and security office to find the supply closet door. Use the key to unlock it and walk inside to find the last torn picture piece. Return to the statue room. Enter the main area, then leave the museum. Head back to the city docks to find the mysterious man, then return to the gate of the tunnel tour. Walk through the tunnel until you reach the wooden ladder. Climb the ladder and click on the hatch door at the top of the tunnel. A picture puzzle will appear on your screen. Move the pieces of the hatch to match those of the torn picture pieces and create the face of a gargoyle. Enter the hatch to return to the museum supply closet.

Sneaking Time

• Leave the supply closet and keep an out for the moving shadow of the security guard in the window of the security office. Once she has walked by, run by the window and go to the statue room door. Go into the statue room, and walk to the right. Move slowly and carefully to avoid the moving laser beams. Hide from the laser beams when they get close to you by stepping behind a plant or a statue. Exit the room and enter the main hall. Walk to the left to find the painting of The Scream. Click the top of the painting to jump on the light hanging over it. The alarms will go off, and you will be arrested and questioned by the police.

Investigation

• Do the lie detector test, then leave the police station and start walking back to the museum. Enter the clown shop to find the security guard. Speak to him to get his time card. Return to the museum and go to the security office. Walk to the computer on the right and click on it to use the security guard's time card. Click on the print screen button to make a print of the video footage when you see the mysterious man walk up to the painting. Speak with the investigator, then return to the clown shop. Speak to the mime by the door of the shop, to learn that the man is in the jazz cafe. Go to the cafe, to find the man, who will run away form you and start a chase scene. The man gets away from you, but he drops a secret key card. Pick up the card, then return to the museum and speak with the curator to get a package. Use the x-ray device on the painting in the package to find the hidden message from the curator asking you to go to the Pop Art Museum on Early Poptropica Island. Head back to your balloon and go to Early Poptropica Island. Walk to the left and enter the Pop Art Museum. Walk to the left to find an old woman wearing purple. Speak with her to get a key. Return to your balloon and then head back to Counterfeit Island.

Making it Back

• Go to the cottage house, and use your key to enter it. Walk up to the second floor to find The Scream painting. Click on it and the lights will go out and you will find yourself caught and tied up by the thief known as Black Widow. Once she leaves, speak with the man with a scar, who is tied in a chair next to you. Move forward and backward to get close to him. Once you are untied, walk to the right to find the exit. Walk to the left and jump onto the boxes. Jump onto the ledge and onto the boxes without being seen by the guard. Jump to the right when the guard turns around and follow him as he walks his route. Jump onto the couch and onto the left ledge, then use the key card to open the door to make it back to the Black Widow.
