How to Get More Ivy on Pixie Hollow

In the Disney "Pixie Hollow" game, you are a fairy who collects ingredients throughout the hollow in preparation of the changing seasons. As you collect these ingredients, you earn badges. In addition, you can use the ingredients as currency when shopping. Although Disney lists Ivy Leaves, an Ivy plant icon with three leaves, as a Very Rare ingredient, Ivy is in fact not difficult to acquire. You simply need to know the places where Ivy will most likely pop up and the other ways in which Ivy is made available in the game.

Instructions

  Travel to various areas in "Pixie Hollow" to gather ingredients -- especially Autumn and Winter areas such as Evergreen Outlook, Snowcap Glade, Chilly Falls and Acorn Summit. Search for Ivy Leaves around or on trees, shops and other areas. When you find Ivy, click it to fly to it and add it to your pouch.

  Search for and play games in "Pixie Hollow" that offer Ivy as a reward such as Snowflake Sweep, Gem Juggle and Firefly Light-Up. When you quit playing a game, click "Ivy" under "Please Choose Your Reward" on the Congratulations! screen pop up to acquire more Ivy.

  Go to a shop and trade ingredients from your pouch to get more Ivy. For example, as of August 2011, you can trade five Twigs for one Ivy or five Rose Petals for three Ivy. Simply select "Ivy" from the "Get This:" area and an ingredient from the "Give This:" area on the Trade Ingredients screen. Click the button marked with a plug sign until you see the exchange rate and then click "Trade" to make the trade.
