How to Make Bow & Staves in LOTRO

"The Lord of the Rings Online" ("LOTRO") is a massively multiplayer role-playing game (MMORPG) set in author J.R.R. Tolkien's fantasy world. Turbine developed the game and Midway published it in 2007. Since then, it has received several expansions. Players create virtual avatars that can complete quests and participate in the storyline. In addition to fighting, players can take up a tradeskill, allowing them to craft various items. For example, you can become a woodworker, giving you the ability to create weapons, like bows and staves.

Instructions

  Launch "Lord of the Rings Online." Log into the character you wish to use to craft bows and staves.

  Locate the crafting facility in the nearest town or city. Crafting non-player characters (NPCs) inhabit these zones. Find the Woodworker NPC. Interact with this NPC. You can purchase the woodworking tools you'll need, as well as receive quests that increase your proficiency in the trade.

  Purchase or find the components necessary for the particular bow or staff you wish to create. NPCs in the area with the Supplier title often have some or all of the required components. You will also need the appropriate recipe for the bow or staff you want to make. These can be purchased, received as rewards for completing quests or found as loot.

  Locate the work bench in the crafting center. This is required for you to craft items using woodworking. To use the facility, you must stand beside the work bench.

  Press the "T" key to open the Crafting window.

  Select the bow or staff you want to create from the list of available recipes. Click the "Make" button located in the lower, right corner of the Crafting window to create the bow or staff.
