How to Sell Clothes With a Magic Box on XStreet

Obtaining a Magic Box

  Log in to the "Second Life" Marketplace (see Resources) with your "Second Life" account.

  Type "magic box" into the keywords box in the item search at the top of the marketplace homepage and left-click on the "Search" button.

  Left-click on the icon for XStreet SL Magic Box, then click on "Add to Cart" and "Purchase."

Placing the Magic Box.

  Log in to "Second Life."

  Travel to a piece of land that you own or to an area where users are allowed to place items.

  Open My Inventory from the sidebar panel and click and drag the Magic Box into the world.

Stocking the Magic Box

  Right-click on the Magic Box and select "Edit."

  Select the "Content" tab from the build menu that appeared when you selected the "Edit" option.

  Drag the clothes you want to sell from the My Inventory sidebar panel on the right side of the screen into the "Content" tab on the left.

Selling

  Log back into the "Second Life" Marketplace website.

  Click on My Marketplace, then click on Merchant Home, which will appear in the top right corner.

  Click on the "Manage Inventory" icon from the list of options on the left of the screen.

  Click on the "Sync Magic Box and Marketplace" button to start selling.
