How to Kill the Rachni Queen

During your journeys through the video game "Mass Effect," you'll encounter the rachni, an alien species assumed to be extinct. On discovering that a rachni queen in a Noveria lab is being used to repopulate the entire species, you confront Matriarch Benezia in the hot labs used for the breeding facility. You have to get past this boss battle to reach and kill the rachni queen.

Instructions

  Load your "Mass Effect" saved game. You need to be on the mission "Noveria: Matriarch Benezia."

  Open the doors to the lab in this mission's area. Benezia confronts you immediately after you enter the lab. In addition to the threat from Benezia, she also has several asari commandos and geth snipers backing her up.

  Kill all of the commandos and snipers in the room, as you cannot damage Benezia until they are defeated. Focus fire on Benezia once she is vulnerable to attack, avoiding the additional commandos she calls in for this phase of the battle.

  Kill the remaining commandos once Benezia is defeated. Proceed through the rachni queen's dialog until you have the option to select "You die here, by my hand." This option awards you with 25 renegade points to your reputation.
