How to Play MapleStory on an HP Mini

The HP Mini model encompasses several HP netbook computers characterized with 10-inch or smaller displays, budget pricing and onboard video cards. MapleStory is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game, or mmorpg, with 2-D side scrolling graphics, so the system requirements are not as demanding as other online roleplaying games. MapleStory runs easily on the HP Mini without any special configuration options beyond a standard installation.

  Open a Web browser and visit maplestory.nexon.net for MapleStory's official website.

  Hover over the "Support" section in the navigation bar and click "Game Clients &Updates."

  Click the first "Download" button on this screen and save MSDownloaderV99.exe. Double-click the exe to launch the MapleStory downloader client.

  Click "Run." Click "I Agree." Click "Next" after choosing your MapleStory installation directory. Click "Finish" once the MapleStory download client has downloaded and installed the game.

  Double-click "MapleStory" on your desktop to launch the game on your HP Mini.
