How to Kill Twin Emperors in World of Warcraft

The Twin Emperors Vek'Lor and Vek' Nash compose the second-to-last boss challenge for the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj Raid Instance in Blizzard's "World of Warcraft" MMORPG. They are each extremely powerful in their own right and will need multiple teams of players working together if you hope to bring them both down. You will need upwards of 16 players to defeat the Twin Emperors.

Instructions

    • 1

Split your Raid party into five groups before engaging the Emperors. Put all of your Melee attackers in one group, your Casters in a second group and split your healers into two groups, with one focused on healing the Melee group and the other on the Caster group. The fifth group should consist of two warriors and two hunters to control the Mutated Bug enemies that abound near the emperors.

    • 2

Position your Caster party on the stairs near the Emperors and place your Melee party on the ground. Keep one healing group near each party and send your Mutated Bug group in to engage and kill the Mutated Bugs.

    • 3

Engage the Twin Emperors and draw them away from one another. Make sure you have at least two Demonology warlocks with a lot of Shadow resistance, as Vek'Lor's main attack is the "Shadow Bolt" attack. Have these two warlocks attack Vek'Lor.

    • 4

Position your Caster party to engage Vek'Lor and your Melee party to engage Vek'Nash. Pound the Emperors for twenty seconds, then have your Melee party and your Caster party switch sides. The Emperors will perform a teleport move where they change places with one another, so you need to make sure your parties are in position to continue the attack when they switch.

    • 5

Have your strongest Warrior oppose Vek'Nash and your strongest Demonology Warlock oppose Vek'Lor whenever they switch places. Continue this coordinated attack-switch-attack maneuver until the Emperors perish.
