How to Make a Strong Dragon Shield

In the online game of "RuneScape," member players can smith a square shield out of dragon metal if they can get a left shield half. The left half of the shield is a rare drop from several different monsters or players can purchase it from the Grand Exchange. Players purchase the right half of the shield from the shop at the Legends' Guild. You can only access the Legends' Guild after completing the "Legends' Quest." The dragon square shield is the strongest shield in the game, as there is no dragon kite shield.

Armor, weapon and food (optional)

Level 60 smithing

Instructions

Get the Shield Halves

  Purchase a dragon left shield half from the Grand Exchange with gold pieces or kill monsters with armor, a weapon and food until you get one as a drop. Check the Items Database website listed in the resources section for a list of monsters that drop this item.

  Complete the "Legends' Quest" to gain access to the Legends' Guild shop.

  Travel to Ardougne and walk northwest towards the coast to find the Legends' Guild. Enter the building and go up the ladder on the right to the General Store. Purchase a right shield half from the store.
Smith the Pieces Together

  Get both pieces from your bank along with a hammer. You must have a smithing level of 60 to make the dragon square shield.

  Travel to an anvil, designated by an anvil in a circle on your mini map. Anvils are located in towns such as Varrock, Seer's Village and Lumbridge.

  Click on one shield half and then click on the anvil. Your character will hammer the two pieces of the shield together.
