How to Get to Ashenvale in Cataclysm

"Cataclysm" is the third expansion to the online multiplayer game "World of Warcraft." Many areas of the world have changed with new enemies and elements affecting how players travel. Ashenvale, a territory in northern Kalimdor, is a contested zone between the Alliance and Horde, as well as having many geographic changes with the onset of "Cataclysm." Getting to Ashenvale will differ depending on what faction the player is in.

Instructions

Alliance Players
- 1
  Travel to Darnassus in the northern most part of Kalimdor. Take the flight path down to Darkshore and begin heading south.

  Travel to the Grove of the Ancients in southern Darkshore and enter Ashenvale from the main road to the south.

  Travel East to the main Alliance outpost in Ashenvale, Astranaar.
Horde Players
- 4
  Begin in Orgrimmar, the main Horde city, and travel southwest to the Crossroads in Norther Barrens.
- 5
  Travel north along the road to Mor'shan Rampart. You will run into the boarder of Ashenvale shortly after.
- 6
  Take the road east to Splintertree Post, the main Horde settlement in Ashenvale.
