How to Get 1 to 99 Farming Herbs

Members of the online game of "RuneScape" may train their character in the farming skill. In the farming skill, you can plant allotment plants such as corn or strawberries, flowers, trees and herbs. Many players choose to level up farming by planting a variety of products, but you can reach Level 99 by planting herbs. There are five herb patches in "RuneScape" -- south of Falador, north of Catherby, north of Ardougne, northwest of Port Phasmatys and at the Troll Stronghold. This patch is only accessible after you have completed the "My Arm's Big Adventure" quest. You must have a farming level of 9 to plant herbs.

Instructions

Planting and Harvesting

  Clear out an allotment or herb patch with a rake. Use a bucket of compost or super compost on the patch to help protect the crop.

  Click on the seed and then on the patch when you have a seed dibbler in your inventory. You need three seeds for an allotment patch and one seed for an herb patch. Water the allotment patch with a watering can; herb patches do not need watering.

  Wait for the crop to grow. The crop is fully grown when the upper left corner of the game window displays "Harvest" instead of "Check." Click on the patch to harvest the crop with a pair of secateurs in your inventory or equipped.
Reaching Level 9
- 4
  Plant potato seeds in each allotment patch and harvest them when they are grown. Allotment patches are located near each herb patch except for the one at the Troll Stronghold. Harvest and plant potatoes until you reach Level 5.

  Plant and harvest onion seeds in each allotment patch until you reach Level 7. You receive slightly more experience for planting onions than you do for potatoes.

  Plant and harvest cabbage seeds in each allotment patch until you reach Level 9. This is the level where you can first plant an herb seed.
Reaching Level 99
- 7
  Plant one guam seed in each herb patch. Allow them to grow and harvest them until you reach Level 14.

  Plant and harvest one marrentill seed in each herb patch until you reach Level 19. Begin planting and harvesting tarromin until you reach Level 26.

  Plant and harvest harrlander until you reach Level 29 and goutweed until you reach Level 32. Plant ranarr until you reach Level 36, spirit weed until you reach Level 38, toadflax until you reach Level 44 and irit until you reach level 46.

  Plant and harvest wergail until you reach a farming level of 50 and avantoe until you reach Level 56. Plant Kwuarm until you reach Level 62, snapdragon until you reach Level 67 and cadantine until you reach Level 73.

  Plant and harvest lantadyme until you reach Level 79, dwarf weed until you reach Level 85 and torstol until you have achieved Level 99 in farming.
