How to Play Yahoo Bowling

Go to the Yahoo! Games home page (see References). Type the word "bowling" into the games search box in the upper left hand corner. Select the first non-sponsored search result. The title will be "Yahoo! Games - Bowling." Open the game.

Select one or two players in the number of players box. Enter your name and select your preferred bowling ball color. Click the "Play" option to begin the game.

Move the mouse to the left or the right to adjust where your bowler stands at the approach line. When you have found a spot you would like to deliver the ball from, press and hold the left mouse button. As you hold the button, move the mouse pointer forward into the bowling lane.

Release the button as you move the mouse pointer forward to throw the ball. The farther and faster you move the mouse pointer into the lane, the more power your ball will have. You can also control the angle of the release by angling the mouse in a forward/sideways manner.

Move the mouse pointer to the left or to the right as the ball is rolling down the lane to add spin. Spin can be helpful in bringing the ball back to the middle of the lane if you accidentally released it to one of the sides.

Press the spacebar on your keyboard to view your scoreboard at any time. The frame of the player who is next to bowl will be highlighted in yellow.
