For Beginners
Before you can start taking advantage of cheats and glitches, you must find your footing in ̶0;Grand Chase.̶1; First, log in with your user name and password and select a server ̵1; this choice won't affect gameplay. Register a nickname to identify yourself by. Select a character, and begin Practice Mode to try out your skills. Move with the arrow pad, and press ̶0;Z̶1; to perform a basic attack, or hold and release ̶0;Z̶1; for a charged attack. Once you're comfortable, click the ̶0;Dungeon̶1; button, choose a dungeon and select ̶0;Enter Room̶1; to start defeating monsters and gaining loot, GP and experience points.
Invincibility
Using the character Ryan equipped with the Defense Totem item, play until you are low in HP, but set the totem down just before your character dies ̵1; lie directly on the totem when he does. As enemies continue to attack, your character will actually gain HP from enemy attacks, essentially rendering him invincible
Unlockables
̶0;Grand Chase̶1; offers numerous secret unlockables in the form of playable characters. You can unlock these characters by buying missions from the shop in the Academy. Each mission costs 30,000 GP. Certain missions cater to certain levels of players, however. Tackle the Jin, Ryan and Ronan missions at around level 20 to unlock these characters. Wait until level 30 to take on the Lass and Sieghart missions and level 40 or 50 to unlock Amy and Mari.
Glitches
Some glitches allow ̶0;Grand Chase̶1; players to take advantage of the game in ways not intended by its creators. If using the Ronan character, use any attack but Dash Attack or Critical Attack during a combo chain, and you will be able to perform an unlimited combo. Enter the Marsh of Oblivion level, and set the difficulty rating to two stars. Complete the level, and you will obtain at least five fragments, an oddly high number.
